LIT Program ( Leaders In Training)
14-16 years old
Join the LIT program in its second year for an experience that takes you beyond the chair lifts and ski runs at Beaver Valley ski club.
Spend Saturday afternoons in a program that gives you personal and resume building experiences. Get your CPR Certificate, winter survival skills, leadership skills and more. 1 or 2 afternoons will be Ski/Snowboard development. Already did the LIT program last year? Come back for new programs and leadership opportunities.
Facilitated by Kimberly Edwards, an experienced leadership facilitator with a Masters degree in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability and 10 years of being an outdoor educator.

Instructor training preparation
Learn about skiing/snowboarding technique and development in students. Join our Level 1 Course Conductor as they introduce new concepts pertinent to snowsports teaching and gain insight and experience that will become helpful should you apply for a position in BVSC’s Recreation Programs. Using the CSIA/CASI Level 1 course as a guide we move through ski/snowboard improvement, snow plow to basic parallel progression and have lots of fun on the way.

Youth are encouraged, as all members are to be part of and add their talents to the activities at Beaver Valley Ski Club. Join, collaborate & benefit from staying active, sharing your skills/creativity with races, social events and recreational programs. This is your winter! Your Club!
