Freestyle Park Programs
Beaver Valley Ski Club is recognized on the Escarpment for excellent coaching and exciting terrain parks and this season you are going to see improvements to both! Park programs are perfect for Recreational Snowboarders of all ages including First Timers to the Park. We also cater to Crossover Program skiers and snowboarders who want to take their snowboarding to the next level. Our goal is to make sure your young athletes have fun while making their way to the upper level of snowboarding in Canada.
We have hired a new head coach, Shawn Letton to manage the communications and scheduling for the programs. Caleb is back along with Mark MacElroy to take our Advanced riders to the top. Our development level coaches are also all returning to train riders to compete in the Grom series to get them ready for the Advanced/Competitive team. The Introduction riders now have a new entry level “Riglet” park on Matt’s Meadow to get into park riding without any fear of large features. The new entry level “Riglet” park will feature fully buried small boxes aimed at riders as young as 3 years old!.
The 2013 Competitive Park schedules will be posted here when it is finalized. Stay tuned or contact Shawn shawn.letton@beavervalley.ca or Jess jess.bowers@beavervalley.ca for all the new park developments!
