We have hired a new head coach, Shawn Letton to manage the programs and sourced top Mogul coaches Andrew Feider and Heath Bercovitch to lead to Mogul programs from the HP team down. On the park side Jeff Eades will head up the HP Escarpment team with a group of experienced, well certified coaches to help our athletes reach the Provincial team and beyond. Also new for the park skier is the Freestylerz program where developing athletes will train for three challenging grassroots competitions. Jumps and Bumps will get our entry level athletes going in both bumps and the park while taking advantage of our new entry level “Riglet” park.
Selecting a program is based on skill level rather than age. All participants are responsible for CFSA (Canadian Freestyle Skiing Association) membership, and competitive event fees.
The 2013 Competitive Freestyle schedules will be posted here when it is finalized. Stay tuned or contact Shawn shawn.letton@beavervalley.ca or Jess jess.bowers@beavervalley.ca for all the new freestyle developments!
