The Ontario Winter Games is coming…

March 8-11, 2012 our Georgian Bay area will be hosting the Ontario Winter Games.  The games invites Ontario’s best amateur athletes to compete in their sport.

Beaver Valley Ski Club will be in the spotlight on Friday March 9th, as we host two races.   The Alpine skiing Panelled Slalom and Snowboarding SBX are sure to provide some spectacular action on the slopes!

At press time our BV athletes are attending their last races of the season to accumulate points to be invited to the Winter Games.  Our BV Skier Athletes will be announced next week.

 In Snowboard Racing we have 3 BV athletes competing in the Winter Games:

Sarah Tuer-Sipos  Parallel Giant Slalom (PGS) and Snowboardcross (SBX)

Daniel Weigert     Parallel Giant Slalom (PGS)

Drew Mortensen Parallel Giant Slalom (PGS)
