Gummy Bear House League, Race #2

Another threatening, ominous day turned into sunshine and puffy clouds by the time the young racers headed out for training on the Eager Beaver Dual slalom set with brushes.  The very s-shaped turny course worked on pressure and edging skills, while keeping their speed in check.  This made for some fun spills and spins as the children negotiated their way down the course, learning to turn around every brush.

A big thank you to all of our coaches from the Snow School and the Nancy Greene Development Groups: Tamara, Jack, Tyler, Meg, Lyn, Vivian, Frank, Kelly, Kim, Ben, Emily, Graydon, Brendon, Kyra, Lizzy, Michael, Matt and Meghan.  Our two volunteer starters at the top, Ariana and Graeme, did an outstanding job getting the racers organized and out of the gate.

Fall guy and gal awards this week go to: Adam Blackmore, James Buick, Aidan Hymus, Conner Kimmock, Erica Lopez, Carter Green, and Ben Rorabeck.

The tables were turned and the teams on top were toppled, so race 3 should be very interesting!
