Canada Post Freestyle Frenzy results

  Beaver Valley was proud to host the Canada Post Freestyle Frenzy on our challenging Freefall mogul course on January 28 & 29th.  With a pitch of over 30 degress at the top and a slope average of 27 degrees, we attracted the best mogul skiiers in all Ontario and Quebec including the full Ontario Mogul Team (OMT) and Quebec Mogul Team ( Equipe de Quebec).  Of note, Ontario had the best showing ever seen in an event of this caliber.  The athletes (both the BV Freestyle High Performance Mogul Team and the BV athletes now on the either the Ontario Mogul Team or the Southern Ontario Region Mogul Team) were proud to perform on their home turf at Beaver Valley.

Dual Mogul Results:

  BV’s own Aimee Hewat took home the silver medal in the challenging Dual moguls.  Aimee is now on the Ontario Mogul Team. BV’s Berkley Brown performed well and was the youngest femal to make the finals. 

Rounding things out, Zac Hoffman (OMT also hailing fromBV) took home thew silver medal in duals performing a Back mute on the second jump.  Heath Bercovitch ( OMT) earned the bronze medal.
